14% increase in solid demand for new product. This is the lifeblood of SGI -- and is the real reason to buy more stock now. SGI is strong in the face of a weak market. Once we get through the election, if the stock market decides to go up, I think SGI will take off. some other interesting news from the webcast (link below) includes the breakdown, 38% revenue from services, 34% from servers, and a miserable 23% from workstations (once the big-income item for SGI.) SGI is now deriving 58% income from America, 23% from Europe and 19% from the rest of the world. Planned revenue growth is 20% -- better than predicted in past.

Missing from the webcast was expectations from LINUX -- I expected glowing terms outlining SGI covering this market like a coat of paint.
