I don't think either stock is going to recover enough to warrant a purchase of the other.

One thing I don't understand about T is that no matter how many ways you slice the pie, it's still the same pie. I don't understand why all the talk recently from T's board/mgmt has been to spin off/tracking stk/split up the company. Damn it don't you see that by giving shareholders 4 different holdings, the market will adjust the garbage entities (i.e. long-distance) accordingly (down).

I just don't understand why they don't use all that brain power to IMPROVE their business. What a novell idea!

I was previously a larger holder of T, but stop lossed when it broke below 30. Still have a small # of shares in my kids college funds.
