Energy And Mining Ministry Begins Marketing For Oil Fields In Eastern Sudan Khartoum, October 23 (SUNA)- The ministry of Energy and Mining, on Monday presented an technical exposition on oil presence in the Delta Toker areas and other region of the Red Sea state, Eastern Sudan, to representatives of some 8 oil companies who expressed desire to invest in the domain of oil in the Sudan. The event was addressed by the ministry's Secretary General Hasan Mohammed Ali Al-tom who welcomed the representatives of the companies and reviewed the efforts exerted by the ministry in this domain as well as the achievements scored. He also presented the benefits and merits of investing in the oil field in the Sudan. Meanwhile the minister of energy and Mining Dr. Awad Ahmad Al-Jazz received a delegation from Russian ROS company which voiced it desire to invest in the domain of oil in eastern Sudan's Toker area. The minister said opportunities of oil investment were open for all international companies and the Russian in particular.
