Bob,

If I remember, SI charges either $150 for a lifetime of $60 for 6 months and then $9/month subsequently. That is unexpensive. I was initially misled to think that SI tolerate moderate advertising, and was receiving a few good quality visitors.

The 20,000 users I mention was for my whole marketing campain (SI account for less than 0.5%). I was just about to design a web robot that automatically post various messages on different boards at different times. I may have saved $6,000 in targeted advertising, but the design of this robot is time consuming. I'll probably never use this robot.

I do have a few partnerships that develop and I am now focusing on this approach (partnership), rather than B2C. I am thinking of having partners (stock brokers) design my trading keys or some related software, and datashaping would be the platform where people exercise the keys. In business model 2A, I would make little money ($0.5 per use of the platform, that the partner could charge to the client). In model 2B, everything I provide is totally free - the way I make money is by providing free trading tools (possibly with exclusivity) on other web sites, through partnerships.

I apologize for the fact that my initial campaign has annoyed some users. It is possible that the level of marketing these last two weeks was high, possibly in a final attempt to prove to myself that however high the marketing is, nobody will buy. This step was necessary to come to model 2 (anyway, I should have reead SI policy beforehand and not use SI for soft marketing).

Regards,

Vincent
