Economy is booming? Telcom's credit crunch, teligent unable to get financing. Dot.com anhilation PC Screaching to a halt Mobile phone sales to distributors very strong, but where will they hide them come earnings time? Banks have no more IPO $$$ to pay big bonus's Brokerages are consolidating and firing all those Institutional sales people The average joe's portfolio is down 20-30%, think he is buying that new Grand Am so fast? Banks have derivitive an huge bond losses(see MER,CHASE) Last but not least the election is over soon, whom will be left to doctor the CPI? The fact is this list of problems exist but whose effects have not re-verberated into the economy. The fact that people are in denial makes it all the more certain that the end of this great bull market is here. The markets have rallied here but the BTM(Bubbledollar,tellermachien) is all out of dough!
