Hmmm. I guess it's not only o.k., but expected that high- tech company profits soar ten-fold, but it's "gouging" when oil companies' profits double. <g> Those same critics of oil company profits think that if oil companies are taxed and regulated enough, production will rise.

The same warped thought process would lead one to conclude that if we slap windfall profit taxes on, and regulate companies like CISCO, Juniper, Intel, Broadcom, AOL, Yahoo, and the NASDAQ stocks in general, it will be a boon to consumers of high technology. NOT.
