I have a question that's been bothering me re the hand held market for MDs: Aren't most doctors working out of offices or hospitals where there are computers that can access all the info accessible on hand held devices? If so, why do they need hand held devices? Seems that buying a hand held device would cost a a lot of money to pay for what could be just an occasional emergency situation. Also, if a dr. gets an emergency call at home about a patient, can't he just boot up his home computer to access the information? Why the need for an expensive hand held device?
