Hi Tomato - beat me :)! AFAIK, there is not a whole lot of information from HLTH about this strategy. That said, I would think most doctors have pagers. So, an upgrade to a PDA [say, a Palm VII] is not to far fetch [even Veep Gore is wearing one :)!] Beyond 2 way messaging, the PDA can replace the ubiquitous clipboards [I see them in them doc teevee shows --- sorry, I ve not been to a hosp for a long while :)!] I'd think that HLTH can manage patient records --- if she is truly ambitious --- as docs can enter their diagnosis via the PDA realtime! Doctors can also dispense drug prescriptions the same way, even tie in to the individual patient's preferred pharmacy.

This is all from my imagination, I ve no clue if this is what HLTH is doing. But if I can think of it, them MBAs getting 6 figures a yr would better come up with something better!

best, Bosco
