Globalstar at the Olympics

qa-www.globalstar.com.au

Vodafone Globalstar took to the streets during September to
spread the word about the new digital GSM and satellite
mobile phone service. The mass of visitors to Sydney
welcomed the attention as they graced our shores and
travelled from across the country to take part in Olympic
celebrations.

A staggering amount of Globalstar akubra hats, baseball caps, bumbags, t-shirts and stickers
were distributed for the entire 15 days of the Games, capturing the imagination of locals and
tourists.

You may have caught our team at The Bondi Hotel, Coogee Bay Hotel or the Watsons Bay
Hotel where they were met by an enthusiastic reception. Onlookers proudly sported the
Vodafone Globalstar 100% mobile coverage message throughout the celebrations. Other
popular tourist destinations such as Sydney's Circular Quay, Oxford Street and Parramatta's
CBD were also frequented by the team. Alternatively, as many visitors arriving and departing
by air found, Vodafone's Rental stores at capital city airports were also passing out the
giveaways right across the country.
