No, I don't believe they are linking the two cases. There has been a rash of abduction attempts since Heather Thomas went missing - like 12 or so. In each of those cases, the girls screamed and kicked, brought attention to themselves and the would be abductors fled. Don't think its all the work of the same guy. Very sick world, indeed.
