Jacob, you state: At this point, AMAT (at a P/S of 5) is in the upper middle of its longterm valuation range, and is, IMO, approximately fairly valued. Until 1999, the upper end of AMAT's PSR was 3. The historical PSR range was from 1 to 3. If you value AMAT based on its PSR it is still trading at least twice its average historical (pre 1999) valuation.
