I don't consider reading articles due diligence. This is what separates me from you. I do my own investigation - reading S1's, 10K's, quarterly reports, primary analysis from Vertical, Del Oro, IDC, Forester, etc.. and listening to confernce calls but most importantly talking directly to people in the industry. You on the other hand read biased articles and spin and base your position on what I consider to be generally crap. That's right.. bullish or bearish... most of these position pieces are crap. Even more so when they suggest that one should invest in an also-ran (AAPL) in a sector that is going down (PC sector) versus the gorilla (CSCO) in a sector that is forecast to do extremely well (communications). I don't need to waste my time reading that kind of trash. If you understood the market you would do the same thing.

We will see who understands the market! Are you going to revise your year end target on CSCO again? First it's $100...then what $85? What's you target now Gary?

Maybe you should talk to some different people in the "industry". The ones I talk to tell me about price slashing and a slow down. Maybe you should try reading some of those "crap" articles I have been posting links to. They seem to warn of slow down in teleco spending and shrinking margins in the industry. I think you discount everything bad that anyone has to say. You look for some little error in the article and then say it's all garbage.

I wouldn't be surprised to see CSCO make it's low of the day on the open. It seems everyone is looking for "buying opps". I see you bought some NT at $50. When do you plan to sell it? My two year target on NT is $20. I don't see how you think this is the bottom considering this slow down is just getting started and the company only has a proforma profit. They lose money from a shareholders perspective. Where is the bottom on a stock that has eroding shareholder value, shrinking margins, is priced to perfection in a growth industry that is starting to slow?
