Mtnlady--

This market is going from the absurd to the ridiculous.

On Nightly Business Report Paul Kangas reported that the precipitous fall in SDLI was not in sympathy with NT's "disappointing earnings"--which could be understandable, if ill-informed--but due to a warning letter from the FDA.

Huh?

It turns out that an SDLI unit makes lasers for the medical world. Said lasers were missing a label that must be mounted on the machine in a particular way and had an off/on switch that could be removed while the machine was in operation.

Now this is a big deal? The machines have been fixed, warning letters are dear to the FDA's heart, and as a proportion of SDLI's revenues the whole thing doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

Crazy times.
