bambs - you just don't get it

The only simple rebuttal I can offer that will help you to understand why it is that NT continues to "lose" money is the good old Canadian government tax bonanza. NT's rev's are taxable by 32% (that's gross rev.). I own my own business here in Can. and I see it that by all means necessary I post acceptable "losses" year after year so as to not get a major clipping by the government. The government has written some incentives into the whole tax planning scenario whereby a company or proprietor will see to it to inflict major write-offs and write-downs on the business so you can actually enjoy whatever is left of the fruits of thy labor. I can become far more technical in my explanations if you like, but I get a first impression by reading your more recent comments that you only have a sparse understanding of the inner workings behind running a business particularly in these here parts, and surviving and doing well all the same.
