My father owns Exxon and Chevron stock and I'm glad if they make a profit. So long as there is government incentive and regulation to make sure they burn cleaner, clean up after themselves and don't spill their load into the ocean of waterways. I also strongly object to the oil companies having way too much power in a Bush White House where they would literally Be the ticket. That gets very-very chancy.
Worse than if any other industry controlled The White House because of how much of a mess they could make with our environment if they had their way. Just have to keep those checks and balances. Bush-Cheney is imbalanced way too much to Big Oil and other eco-unfriendly interests. Also too NRA friendly for my liking. I'm cool with guns so long as we know who has them and who can buy them. Bush-Cheney are for almost total de-regulation of firearms. If you don't believe me just look at their records.
