i have noticed btw. that full employment has become one of he fall-back positions of the bulls lately...the argument goes that the debt burden won't be a problem as full employment guarantees the consumers ability to service it.

to that i can only say that the Japanese bubble economy topped out at REALLY full employment...and so did the US market in the early '70's. full employment is the condition where things can't get any better...which means they can only get worse.
