don't spill their load into the ocean of waterways.

Funny how this problem is exacerbated by the fact that we have to ship Arab oil VIA OIL TANKERS to US shores.

Could it be that Clinton/Gore, by being the administration that HAS INCREASED US DEPENDENCE on foreign oil, has caused the environment more harm than good?

Hmmm.....

Btw, all the NRA has asked for is an instant background check system that DOES NOT INFRINGE on an individuals ability and constitutional right to obtain and bear arms.

Yet, the current administration has been unwilling to support this instant background concept.

And furthermore... you worry about energy companies getting into bed with the Bush administration. But what you should REALLY AND TRULY be worried about is the telecommunications companies linking with certain governmental agencies in order to intercept and read our most private communications.

I would rather take a chance on the oil industry being able to reduce US independence on foreign oil than everything we we say or type on the internet being intercepted, stored, and put in an electronic "big brother" database.

I'm all for limiting the power of government to control our lives and hold us hostage to power arbitrarily applied.
