Saw an interesting article on Nader today - forget whether it was in WSJ or NYT (but think it was in the Journal). It said Nader wanted Gore to be defeated by Bush so as to push the Democrat party away from the center to the left. Sounded believable to me, though it doesn't seem to jibe with your opinion - at least as I ascertain it. Too bad Nader and his intentions aren't getting more press attention.
