I'm very glad you care about oil spills.

And I'm all for Double-hulled tankers as well...

Do you really think oil companies WANT to have oil spill into the ocean?

Accidents happen because humans are involved. But to claim that they deliberately desire to harm the environment, losing profits in the process, is just inane.

As for Al Gore Sr... you can claim that he's dead and buried, but his son is primary beneficiary and executor of his estate.

An estate that contains $1 million in OXY stock...

Doesn't the fact that Armand Hammer being HEAVILY involved with the Soviet leadership and intelligence services cause you the least bit of dismay?

He, and by default, Al Gore Sr., sold their national loyalties to become puppets of the communists.

And by further default, the fact that Al Gore Jr. stands to benefit TREMENDOUSLY from OXY stock would have been an absolute reason for avoiding such an obvious conflict of interest.

Or at least making the sealed bids public so that all players can know whether OXY was indeed the highest bid, or just provided the opportunity to top any of the other offers.
