I think if you look at the history of the German government and the Protestant and Catholic Churches, you will see that the German government has collected tithes for a long time. So that much is true. To say that it's a quid pro quo for collaborating in the Holocaust would be risible if it were not so sad.

But you believe what you want to believe. I thought we could have an intelligent discussion about religion here, and I was mistaken.
