Thanks for the input, Merry. You never know what went on behind the scenes nor what compelled BLSW to do this deal, but it's fun to speculate.

One thing we'll never know is whether $400+ million, in stock currency, was a fair price for BLSW. Apparently Kilroy and Co. thought so, and while I'm sure they started negotiating the deal when HWP was trading at higher prices, I haven't heard or read anything about minimum guarantees, important given HWP's recent swoon.

As for me, I nibbled in April and bought more heavily in May, so my cost basis is nearly $20. Whether I make money on this depends on HWP stock price, and I hear rumors are floating (breifing.com) they may announce a miss...which likely means continued pressure on the stock, even if untrue.

Not sure if I'll sell or hold at this point. Would love to get my hands on the merger agreement!
