Precis Smart Card Systems Inc. Changes Date for Annual Shareholders Meeting
To Approve the Acquisition of Foresight, Inc.
NORMAN, OKLAHOMA, October 25, 2000 / PRNewswire / -- Precis Smart Card
Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: PCIS) today announced that its annual shareholders
meeting has been changed to November 29, 2000 and will be held at the Precis
corporate offices in Norman, Oklahoma. Shareholders of record at the close
of business on October 6, 2000 will be entitled to vote on matters set forth
in the proxy statement to be distributed to the shareholders as well as
other matters that may be presented at the meeting.
Among the matters to be considered at the meeting for shareholder approval
will be the proposed acquisition of Foresight, Inc., a national marketing
company with over six million dollars in annual revenues and approximately
560,000 customers nationwide. Foresight provides product enhancement or
"club benefits" to financial institutions, rental purchase dealers, consumer
finance companies, retail outlets, employee groups and member-based
associations.
