"THE INTEL OF BIOCHIPS" this analogy of course is not precise, however, one cannot deny AFFX will always be recorded as the key player when the biochip revolution got started. Of course there is competition coming (partly because the sector is so strong), however AFFX will undoubtably be a critical company going forward, right at the heart of one of the greatest scientific endeavours of all time. Point is buy it while its cheap, as it hardly going to get any less important longer term
