Harry, RE: Overall, I agree, but I have seen too many examples that analysts are trying to hold on to their power by becoming the "axe" on various stocks like Intel. And unfortunately the market is still reacting to that. The market reaction only lasts between half a day, a full day max. As long as you have a time horizon longer than that, an analyst won't have an effect.
