what it will take is some event that leads to fund managers reconsidering playing around with other people's money like that. one of them breaking ranks perhaps, believing he will look good when he shows a big cash balance instead of scores of bombed out stocks on the statement?

the fact that the public at large is not even worried yet, is in fact VERY worrisome. i have recently seen a mufu fund flow chart from the '70's...the first REAL rally off the bottom in '74 was the one mufu holders were SELLING into. prior to that, they bought EVERY single recovery.
