Very good to hear from you, as always. I suspect AG can become an alarmist when he begins to develop that pessimistic mindset, with all that responsibility on one set of shoulders. I think he feels his job is to quelch inflation as a cancer before the infection spreads. Given this boat turns like a freighter, and AG can only see just a little past the bow, it may be sometimes easy to overdo it, particularly given the delayed feed back the economy can provide. I am sure many do not like economies that fall like elevators compared to what they were like in the past, having gone with ghusto in the opposite direction. And as you know the stock market is the barometer for many eyes.

It will be interesting to see if we get a cut next month. I think this could mean that AG also feels that he has overdone the rate hikes.

PS: What this I hear you and Bobby agreeing with each other? Bobby is at his best when there are others disagreeing with him. :-)
