I'm changing my recession fears to deflation anxiety. Here's some numbers for California.

September posted a 0.6 percent decrease and the median home price rose 13.4 percent compared to the same period a year ago, the California Association of REALTORS® and Real Estate Solutions, a real estate information service, reported today.
``The median price of a home in California rose by double-digits for the 10th time in the last twelve-month period,'' said C.A.R. President Richard F. Gaylord. ``Consumers continue to be optimistic about the California economy and demand for housing remains strong.''
