<<<As a 90%+ holder of LMNE, MRV shares would have reflected the price of LMNE. As it was discussed before, you can even short LMNE and be long MRVC. I guess it depends on your investment thesis, if you plan to keep LMNE a very long time, the acquisitions make sense since it makes LMNE a stronger company. I, for one, believe that the valuations given to Optical Companies are not sustainable. By having delayed the IPO, we would not reap the rewards of high P/S multiples.>>>

Not true. MRVC and LMNE shares will be priced as the market values them. Sure i've read all the discussions re: the value of the shares (A+B=C), but you can cite a hundred examples available today, but none will be able to predict what the market will value each co. There is no magic formula! You aren't a 90% holder of LMNE until you get spinoff shares. You can buy on the open market at a huge gap open premium, or you can buy them cheaper. take your choice. For the small guy like me, i want the stronger company. I rarely see IPO shares until after they start trading on the open market.
BTW why would you want to short LMNE and be long MRVC?
