I've seen no news from Winfield Capital yet, but several developments occurred. Hewlett-Packard offered .2433 shares for each share of Bluestone Software (57,170 shares). The price of BLSW went down on the news.

Also, Capstone Turbine (112,500 shares) dropped 14 3/8 yesterday. The earnings news was OK, but they announced a secondary stock offering. 7MM shares are to be offered, but 6MM comes from current stockholders. Is WCAP involved in this?

Finally, I charted WCAP against their largest holding, CMRC. The stocks began diverging at the end of August, WCAP down relative to CMRC. Right now, assuming that Winfield still owns 690,146 shares of Commerce One, their investment is worth $ 8.65/WCAP share. WCAP is selling at a 7.7 % discount with nothing else considered.
