WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader on Wednesday said he would stay in the presidential race, even if his presence ensures a victory to Republican presidential nominee George W. Bush.

"I think people should vote their conscience," Nader said during an interview with CNN's Judy Woodruff. "We have a chance to build a major third party, we have a chance to build a progressive political party."
