Random thoughts:

IMO, it looks like the Nasdaq wants to test the 3050 again. If it does test that and hold, it would be a "triple bottom". Personally, I would like to see the gap filled in the 2870 range, but I'm not holding my breath at this point, but we are close.

JDSU will be key tomorrow. It should be interesting to see what they report. I took a position in it today just because it got beaten up so much (as did countless others). Like Rande, I will NOT hold JDSU thru the earnings.

There are a lot of nervous people out there right now, and who could blame them? But, I like to take the contrarian position and think that this is a great buying opportunity, at least for the short to mid term. Any downside is limited, IMO. Unless we go to war or if some major city gets nuked.

But then again, we do have some fairly important economic numbers coming out the next 2 days and that could play a role in what happens.

Soft or Hard landing?

Looks like a crap shoot to me.

Hopefully my dice will be rolling anything but craps.
