There will be less than 200,000 P4's produced this year and Jonathan Joseph of Saloman Smith Barney estimates that only 10% of Intel's output in Y2001 will be P4's and that even that will be highly concentrated in the second half, when P4 chipsets will use DDR SDRAM, not Rambus RDRAM. At the beginning of this year, this thread assumed that RDRAM would be at least 10% of the memory market. In reality, it will be no higher than 2%.
