I'm not going to lead an educational class on the difference between blue sky and hard assets.

My play on terms was that a depreciating asset is worth zip at the end. BlueSky, it is argued, should still be there in ten years, and maybe worth more. Coke would be a good example of this. I could throw in a few others, but a gun comment comes to mind that crystallizes it: "Trust No Substitutes".

If your customers feel that way ......
