NEWS RELEASE TRANSMITTED BY CCN - A NEWSWIRE SERVICE OF ITG
FOR: MILLSTREAM MINES LTD.30,733,043 SHARES ISSUEDCDNX SYMBOL: YLI
OCTOBER 25, 2000 - 13:23 EDTMillstream Mines Ltd.: News Release
TORONTO, ONTARIO-- Airport Property, Falconbridge Township - Sudbury Area

Millstream Mines Ltd. is pleased to announce the continued
exploration of its Airport Property for nickel, copper, cobalt +
platinum/palladium group metals. Crowflight Minerals Inc.
commenced the diamond drilling program with hole APT-1 and surface
mapping is continuing.

Kidston Property, Munro Township - Timmins - Matheson Area
Millstream Mines Ltd. announces the exploration results of its
initial drilling of the geophysical anomalous areas on the Kidston
Property. The Kidston Property (Timmins - Matheson area, Munro
township, northern Ontario) is located north of Millstream's (VMS)
massive sulphide, copper-zinc-cobalt, Potter Property. The Potter
Property is situated on the southern limb of a syncline and the
Kidston Property appears to be situated on the northern limb of this syncline.
Drill hole KDS 00-01 (75W, 300S, Dip-50, Az 360)
Hole KDS 00-01 was targeted to test, at depth, Quantec Geophysics
Real Section I.P. anomaly, the westerly down plunge and depth
extension of the Cu-Zn mineralization encountered in the 1992
short drill holes by Granges Inc., and to identify the occurrence
of a favourable hyaloclastite horizon similar to the mine hosting
sequence encountered at the Potter Property.
The hole was drilled 479 meters in length intersecting the
favourable hyaloclastite horizon in two (2) downhole intervals
(349.7 to 474.0 meters and 450.7 to 451.8 meters). Weak
intermittent sulphide stringers and veining were encountered
between 349.7 to 474.0 meters downhole, in which, 10 mineralised
sections were sampled for copper-zinc-cobalt. The highest assay
values reported by Swastika Lab being: Copper 0.202% and Cobalt
0.027% over 0.54 meters and Zinc 1.84% over 1 meter of core lengths.
Millstream's management and its consultants are of the opinion the
first exploration stage and drill hole achieved its primary
objectives and are encouraged to continue with the exploration program.

Additionally, Millstream announces that its securities have been
transferred from the Canadian Dealers Network (CDN) to Tier 3 on
the (CDNX) Canadian Venture Exchange Inc. effective October 10,
2000. Millstream's previous trading symbol "MLSM" on the CDN is
now "YLI" on the CDNX.

The principal objective of Millstream Mines Ltd. is to enhance and
develop known mineral properties to production potential.
The Canadian Venture Exchange has not reviewed and does not accept
responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release -30-
