Federal Agencies Tracking Web Site Visitors

The General Accounting Office (GAO) says that thirteen government web sites are tracking their Internet visitors in violation of privacy rules. One of the U.S. Forest Service sites was apparently sending the information to a private company which generates reports for the agency.
