Sidenote: Jeff Vinik, former Magellan manager, has closed his $4B hedge fund and returned $ to individuals.
This action is similar to in 95, he was heavy in technology and specifically semiconductors. He moved it to bonds in 96 which had a bad year, while the markets continued higher.

Could it be that he has taken a lot of money out of the techs again, causing the anomaly in the tech markets of the last 6 months?
