One can also invest in the market under Gore's plan, but this vehicle (Retirement Savings Plus Account) would add to, not take away from, Social Security.

Under Gore's plan, Social Security would be solvent for 50 years. Under Bush's plan, experts say the Social Security Trust Fund would be depleted by 2023.

This is Social "Security," not Social "Gambling."

A year ago I bought 100 shares of an Internet stock at $23 a share. The stock at one time sold for $65 a share. Today it's selling for less than $3 a share. Let's not forget that investing on the open market also produces losing situations.
