Hi JFH, here's how the best/worst index values changed in just one week: DATE BEST/BEST WORST/BEST BEST/WORST WORST/WORST 10/13 +325.6% +61.7% -45.0% -74.7% 10/20 +234.1% +46.3% -54.4% -84.7% On 10/13 the sum was +267.6 which would be very bearish. On 10/20 the sum had dropped to +141.3, still bearish, but not by nearly as much. If the trend continues this week, we should be back in the neutral area. Here's the three year graph of this index aim-users.com It's doctored and smoothed with exponential moving averages, but it generally tells the story. Note that massive speculation peak in the early part of this year. It coincides nicely with the peak of the "bubble" in March. Best regards, Tom
