I understand where you are coming from, but few of these companies have the visibility amcc has, so we can be very confident in a calendar year 2002 3 bucks in earnings. I doubt they slow much from there, so imo amcc will quite probably compound at near its profit growth rate for the next 3-4 years.

I feel the pain as much as anyone, but this too shall pass. It may be a long while until confidence is restored, however, to individual investors, so it will be a long while before there is another balloon.
