15:23 ET JDS Uniphase (JDSU) 73 +2: Some trading floor contacts attributing rebound in JDSU to an earnings report from Canadian company C-MAC (EMS) this afternoon. C-MAC cited "the transition of Nortel's optical business into our facilities" as one reason for its strong report; traders suggesting this bodes well for JDSU. Also likely to be some short-covering ahead of JDSU's earnings report after the close.
