The only thing worse than being ignorant is not knowing how ignorant you are. That's Lord Mag's problem. While there is no evidence that he can't see beyond his own blockish concerns, it is clear that he and his bootlickers are repugnant kleptomaniacs. This is not set down in complaint against them, but merely as analysis. Lord Mag spouts a lot of numbers whenever he wants to make a point. He then subjectively interprets those numbers to support his bons mots while ignoring the fact that he thinks we want him to spew forth ignorance and prejudice. Excuse me, but maybe his understrappers believe that "Lord Mag's decisions are based on reason." First off, that's a lousy sentence. If they had written that Lord Mag should pay for his mistakes, then that quote would have had more validity. As it stands, if Lord Mag wants to complain, he should have an argument. He shouldn't just throw out the word "theologicohistorical", for example, and expect us to be scared. Lord Mag's bedfellows compress Lord Mag's excuses into brief, highly reductive, definitive-sounding phrases, easily memorized and easily expressed. With enough time and room, it would be easy to show why this must be true, but the clinching argument is simply that Lord Mag is the picture of the insane person on the street, babbling to a tree, a wall, or a cloud, which cannot and does not respond to his reports.
Finally, to those of you who are faithfully helping me shed a little light on some of the ignorant prejudices that reside within Lord Mag's pea-sized brain, let me extend, as always, my deepest gratitude and my most affectionate regards.
