OOF :-| .... new day.... clearer perspective..... I now see how you made the connection..... unfortunately, last night I was well into a large snifter of Canadian Hunter & didn't really grasp your connection......... I was focused on my POV in those posts (making a joke & my call on today's action), rather than how my words could be interpreted by others as having a hidden meaning.....
FWIW, I haven't been consuming much alcohol a couple of years now..... sometimes go weeks without giving it a thought..... even when I do, I rarely consume more than 2 or three beers or a glass or two of wine..... It's been well over a year since I hit the hard stuff at all. Needless to say, drinking whiskey straight packs a punch.
FWIW, my, 'heavin' the Canadian', comment really was suppose to be a joke about the quality of the booze & can of pop I was actually consuming..... in comparison to my cyber order to polvie for a top shelf bourbon & a beer chaser...... BTW, there was no beer or wine at home last night.... Canadian Hunter & a Citra chaser was really the only choice..... & I never did care much for whiskey..... but wanted a buzz bad enough last night to pinch my nose.
In the haze/buzz of the booze, I failed to consider how the Canadian part could be misconstrued as a backhanded swipe at Rose. That is much clearer today. That was not my intent FWIW.
That's my excuse & me & my hangover are sticking to it.
I do apologize for any misunderstanding. I did not intend to harm or malign.
