I don't think Mikey was trying to say that we were cutting a record, but you've got a good idea there. I've gotten some pretty lame videos from the likes of Goldtex, with Chuck Fipke being interviewed by Alan Alda; Ariel Resources, with some old coot in Latin America going on about gold processing; and the New Claymore video showing the CEO staking claims in Alberta.
What WSP should do is spring for some plane tickets for all of us threadsters to go to LA or SF or Motown, somewhere with recording studios, where we can cut "Songs of Winspear," or a catchier title (don't everybody post album titles all at once, now).
WSP could include a tape or CD in every DD package. Or better yet sell them on the Home Shopping Network along with a genuine diamond from Snap Lake, all for only $19.95, plus postage and handling. Visa and MasterCard accepted.
Walt could do a solo or two a capella. We could call ourselves the Winspear Thread Chorus or the Merry Threadsters or Diamonds in the Rough, or Diamond Pipes or whatever.
Any other ideas out there?
