There has to be some payoff from the deal that GWB and Rev. Bob Jones et al cooked up in March, when GWB was getting hammered by McCain. Surely you're not as naive as Allen Wrench? Of course there's a payoff. Only a simpleton would think that there would not be a payoff. And what's the one issue that Falwell/Robertson keep hammering home? Answer: Judicial appointments. The Religious Right at this very moment is preparing its judiciary list for GWB's managers. After these guys get done doing their thing, Clarence Thomas will be considered left of center.
