NORSAT APPROVED FOR NASDAQ NATIONAL MARKET LISTING
BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA — October 26, 2000 — Norsat International Inc. (TSE — NII; Nasdaq — NSATF), a components and systems solution provider for satellite broadband and VSAT networks, today announced that it has received approval from Nasdaq to list its common stock on the Nasdaq National Market. The shares will begin trading on the Nasdaq National Market on Monday, October 30, 2000 under the symbol NSAT. The Company’s common shares will continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) under the symbol NII.
