Poked around on the Raging bull thread, got some tidbits:
Earnings will be reported on 11/17. The whisper number is 0.16 and the concensus number is 0.12 or 0.11
depending on where you look.

Is ADIC a takeover target?
Response:
Highlander: It is a real surprise to see that question on this board....I belong to an investment group and we had
our weekly meeting last night. One of the members just got back from a trip to Seattle and he was calling on
ADIC while out there. He told us there is some indication that something is going on at the corp. headquarters.
Lots of legal types coming in for meetings and some recent off site meetings by senior magt. May not mean
anything but the off site meetings normally mean some degree of concern
about the confidentially of what is being discussed and who is attending.

...Van Oppen, who is 48, similarly is paid 86 percent below what the market shows his peers earn. He was paid
$564,000 in 1999 and owns 130,000 shares in Advanced Digital worth $1.7 million. (Stanton, 45, himself owns
more ADIC stock than van Oppen. As of January 13, he held 734,000 shares and has since bought 128,000, a
total now worth more than $11.1 million.)

The rumor mill had EMC/IBM listed as possible suitor. I think not. Would not be too surprised to see a takeover however.

FWIW, Jim
