This only strengthens my belief that WCDMA is not as vaporous as some beleive.
Fujitsu and Matsushita would not have signed new license agreements with Q and pay a big upfront fee if WCDMA doesn't have a chance of making it out of the lab.
They are not that dumb. They see a product to be sold and they know they must be licensed to sell it, thats why they signed, if there wasn't a product to sell they wouldn't have signed.
