It's an interesting political season, and I don't think we've yet seen the signature moment which will decide the election. I think you're right; people are beginning to focus on issue more, rather than personality. In addition to being thin on issues (it's that "vision" thing his Pop had problems with, too), I suspect Bush is feeling some heat on the Rand educational report, and Social Security (his little faux pas on trillion dollar double dipping in Debate III).

Having the GOP lose the House ... it would be so nice to see so much less of Armey and Delay. I'm not so enamored with the House Democratic leadership, though. It's only that the GOP Inquisition is so downright awful. I'd like to see the Senate turn more, actually, than the House, because they are the gatekeepers for the judiciary.
