OT - You mean you expect Algore to behave better in the highest office than he has been behaving in the second highest? POSSIBLY YES, ALL VP'S ACTIONS ARE LIMITED BY THE PRESIDENT HE SERVES. I LEARNED THAT HE HARD WAY WITH HUBERT HUMPHREY AND LBJ DURING VIETNAM. AS PRESIDENT HHH WOULD HAVE FOLLOWED A DIFFERENT PATH. Bush and I oppose McCain Feingold because it affects Republican supporters, namely business, to a greater extent than it affects Democrat supporters, namely labor unions. We both support reform that is even-handed. I HAVE HEARD THIS ARGUED BEFORE. I DONT KNOW ENOUGH TO COMMENT EXCEPT WHY WOULD JOHN MCCAIN BE A SPONSOR IF YOUR COMMENTS ARE CORRECT? You probably know that accepting contributions from a foreign government is a felony. How about the Dems cleaning up that matter as a token of good faith on the issue? I AM NOT AWARE THAT THEY ARE ACCEPTING THESE CONTRIBUTIONS THIS TIME AROUND. AM I WRONG? THE PRESIDENCY MAKES BETTER MEN OUT OF SOME. I am not sure about algore. I see Bush as sleazy as well so I am not sure about him. I didnt like the way he behaved in the primaries re: McCain but of course i didnt like the way algore misrepresented bradley's positons either. IF YOU COULD PICK THE NEXT PRESIDENT INCLUDING OTHERS, WHO WOULD YOU PICK?
