OK, let me explain this as clearly as I can. After this, I am going to drop the subject as it is getting tiring. We have strong opinions. What others do with their own money is neither my concern nor my care. However you do not hesitate to call anyone who'd choose to ignore your gurus an idiot. And Ian would go a lot further than that. The slightest difference of opinion and he'll jump all over the place. Whereas most of us would not breach the boundaries of civility over differences of opinion. That does not mean we don't feel strongly about our opinions, only that we either try to logically explain our perspective or simply respect your right to be wrong. And we do this without shouting in your face "hey you are wrong and you are an idiot for being so wrong". No offense, but making these claims lends little to your credibility since Ian, myself and others were buying and buying in a big way in '96 and '98 when stocks like AMAT were in the single digits. Oh boy! And I suppose that statement sounds very logical to you. First of all, how do you know I was not buying AMAT in those times? Just because I did not engage in chit-chat with you? Secondly suppose that I wasn't. Does not having bought AMAT in that time frame make me ignorant of how to invest now? And thirdly, even assuming you made a great investment, that does not give you any more rights or make you any smarter than others? Great logic! I have absolutely NO IDEA what you are referring to here. Witch-hunts? Then read the paragraph again. Here, I explain it for the last time. The ability to prevent your zealous belief in something to interfere with peaceful discourse with those of different opinion is the primary requirement for a civil society. Those who cannot do so are the same kind of people who'd conduct the most vicious witch-hunts. ST
